A local politician, Danny Healy-Rae thinks that fairies are causing a problem. Just outside Killarney, a dip keeps appearing in highway N22, and the local crew is about to give up fixing it.
Sound unlikely? Absolutely not. The area is, after all, surrounded by Celtic stones and monuments. That’s not all! Many of the local place names refer to “lioses,” or fairy forts.
